Valentine's Bear Pencil Toppers

Happy Valentine's Day! I had such a fun time putting together this craft for my students. Instead off making them a card, I decided to make them a small encil topper with a message on it. I even managed to make it bear shape, since that's our class animal. The inspiration came from a project in the Cricut project bank that featured a heart pencil topper. I hope the kids love them!

In case you have a cricut and you're looking for the original project, you can search "Valentine Pencil Topper". Here's what it looks like:

Easy Xmas Bear Cards

Hi there!

What a crazy busy year with our new house and mega renos. Finally settling down and getting back to my crafts. Here are some fun cards I made for my students this year, a little different then last year's polar bear xmas xcards.
They inspired the cards that I got my students to make for their parents: a fun and simple polar bear. Each student received:
▪ 5x7 card
▪ 4x6 piece of christmas scrapbooking paper
▪ bear cut out

They then got to decorate them with their imagination.... and a sharpie!
Here's how they turned out: I LOVE THEM!!! GAH!!! (C'est trop mignon!)

Christmas Tree Collage Card

Hi again! Thought I would share the fun project we'll be doing this week in class: some beautiful Christmas Tree cards made from a collage of torn paper. This are a little tricky to do, so the not-so-artistic students can do a simpler collage tree I kept from last year. For this project you'll need as many shades of green paper you can find!

Materials:
  ☆ carstock (for the card)
 ☆  scraps of green paper
 ☆   white and brown paper
 ☆  glue & scissors
 ☆  ruler
 ☆  accent stars

Instructions:
1. Start by tearing thin strips of green paper and gluing them onto a sheet of green construction paper.

2. Trace 2 different sized triangles with a ruler and cut them out.
3. Tear a "mountain" of snow in the white paper and glue it onto your card.
4. Place your triangle trees where you like.
5. Finish with rectangular tree trunks and accent stars!
